Inspiration Behind the Graphic

We honour the timeless values of freedom of thought, and the authentic representation of one's homeland, all combining exquisitely with the style of AZAT MARD.

Step into the world of Sergei Parajanov’s art as we unveil our latest collaboration featuring his mesmerising collages series, including his captivating rendition of Leonardo Da Vinci’s masterpiece the Mona Lisa. 🎨

Sergei Parajanov was one of those rare individuals for whom freedom was a necessity and a way of life 🕊️

He knew no boundaries - neither national, nor political, ideological, or in genre, which is why practically all of his works- whether films or moving picture galleries - which later brought him worldwide fame, were perceived by Soviet censorship as a direct threat and resulted in a witch-hunt.

Persecution, bans, prison... And work that never stopped for a minute. Unable to make films, he created collages: remarkably elegant works, made from someone else’s discarded junk.

This is no longer just the love of freedom, it’s an intolerance of not being free.
