AZAT MARD’s Six-Week
Sell-out In Bloomingdale’s.
A defining milestone for AZAT MARD — a testament to the strength of a community that continues to grow.

AZAT MARD entered Bloomingdale’s following clear, proven demand from the US audience, becoming the first Armenian fashion brand to enter the department store.
With an already established and highly engaged community, launching in Los Angeles was the next step. Home to over 700,000 Armenians — one of the largest populations outside Armenia.
Reflecting this demand, Bloomingdale’s placed the largest stock holding it has ever taken at one time for a brand, reinforcing both the scale of the opportunity and the strength of AZAT MARD’s presence in the US market.

AZAT MARD was founded in 2018 by Garen Tchobanian, with a vision to bring Armenian heritage to a global audience, translating culture, stories, and identity through design.
The launch was met with exceptional demand, resulting in a complete sell-out within six weeks — reinforcing AZAT MARD’s growing global presence and community.

Beyond commercial success, this milestone marks the continued expansion and rapid growth of AZAT MARD — carrying Armenian heritage forward with passion and purpose at the core of everything we do.
This journey is built on the strength of our community and we will always acknowledge that.

“To our Armenian community and supporters around the world, thank you for believing in us.”
